Always looking for a change
No Más Basura was born in 2016 and arose with the intention of reducing the amount of garbage that ends up in the local landfill, the strategy was to provide a collection center for separated solid waste.
We want to instill the habit of separation and proper management of waste in the community, transform the paradigm and raise awareness about garbage.
Our Story
We were faced with little knowledge regarding waste management, which pushed the evolution of our N.G.O. and we found ourselves needing to include educational strategies in the community to instill care for the environment through the separation of generated waste and the implementation of strategies that will contribute to the fulfillment of our mission and vision.

About the event
No Más Basura Day is one of our first strategies to reduce the amount of garbage that ends up in our landfill, on our land, our arroyos, and consequently in the sea.
Knowing the trajectory of waste is extremely important. It is the root of promoting environmental awareness.
In our recycling center, all your solid urban waste has an appropriate final destination.
Are you aware of the trajectory of your waste?
Bring them separated and we'll tell you all about it!

Town Clean Up
Each year NMB organizes, along with the community, a massive town clean-up for El Sargento along with its annex, La Ventana. People of different ages, beliefs, nationalities, among other things, united for a common mission: to clean the town by collecting the garbage that contaminates our streets, mountains, beaches and seas.
We dream of getting together to celebrate a clean town.
We encourage the participation of the youth community

Operation Semana Santa (Easter) Week
During the Easter Week vacation the coasts of the beautiful beaches in the La Ventana Bay are visited by many. Unfortunately, the influx of tourists on Mexico's beaches also creates an increase in tons of garbage that, many times, ends up in the sea; as well as, an increase of chemical substances that damage and contaminate these bodies of water.
WE GIVE THE MESSAGE BY SEA
From pangas (boats) we reach the coasts that do not have access on foot, promoting the principles of "Leave No Trace"
WE ORGANIZE TO COVER THE ENTIRE COAST
We have the participation of volunteers who support us in covering the entire coast of Bahía de la Ventana
WE PLACE BATHROOMS AND BOATS
In order to ensure that the bags we deliver do not end up on the coast, a few days before we install bathrooms and trash cans in specific areas for the waste generated.
